Help with CleanSpace

Email support@cleanspace.cc and include your licence code and macOS version.

My scan found almost nothing

Full Disk Access is probably off. macOS hides the Trash, Mail, Safari and other apps' containers from apps without it, so those areas look empty. CleanSpace shows a banner when the permission is missing — click Open System Settings from that banner, switch CleanSpace on, then click Check Again.

My licence stopped working after a repair

A licence is tied to your Mac's hardware identifier. Replacing the logic board changes that identifier, so the licence no longer matches and will not validate. CleanSpace does not reissue licences when hardware changes — using the paid features on the repaired Mac needs a new licence. Everything in the free tier keeps working as before.

I bought CleanSpace but it still says Free

Open CleanSpace Pro in the sidebar. If the purchase completed, the screen shows your plan and the Mac it is registered to. If it still offers plans, choose I already have a licence key and paste the key from your receipt. If the key is refused, the message says why — a key registered to a different Mac, or one that has expired, each say so plainly.

I want the licence on a different Mac

Licences cover the Mac they were bought on and are not transferable. A second Mac needs a second licence.

Can I have a refund?

All sales are final. That is why every scan is free forever at full detail and why you get 500 MB of cleaning before paying — so you can confirm CleanSpace does what you need on your own Mac first. If something is actually broken, that is a bug and we will fix it: write to us.

Did CleanSpace delete something I needed?

Removal goes to the Trash by default, so check there first — the file will be sitting in it unless you changed the mode to permanent deletion or used the Shredder, which cannot be undone by design.

A maintenance task says it is unavailable

Some tasks drive command line tools that Apple ships with macOS, and Apple occasionally removes one. When the tool a task needs is not on your system, CleanSpace disables that task and says so rather than failing when you press Run.

How do I remove CleanSpace?

Drag it to the Trash. It stores its settings in your preferences and your licence in the Keychain; neither takes meaningful space, but you can remove the Keychain entry with Keychain Access by searching for CleanSpace.
